no, the game isnt going to be in ciddyspeak >_> that’s just a test sentence. Anyway! The past couple days I’ve been working hard and finally i made the textbox, name box, and side image HORRAY!!! that wasnt an easy task well the namebox/textbox wasnt TOO hard the side image was a real pain >____< still i finally got it figured out! so now i can code in MC <3

Also just so people know ONLY the MC has a side image. The rest of the characters have the bigger sprites. MC doesn’t have a bigger sprite. I know on lemmasoft people were complaining about both a side image and large sprite of the same char. thats a bit distracting for me as well, so none of that.

I know there isnt any buttons (for those that dont know just right click to get to the menu) maybe later on down the lines there will be. Also the heart background is a temp thing for when enter your name (i just wanted to test it out…..) and for when you choose who you want to work with (which at the moment the only one avail. is chris)

future plans include a title/OP picture…maybe ill see if i can mess with the in-game menu settings. I’d like to get some buttons as well. Image-map for the choices of who you work with, etc…..

but for now, i’m just going to program in MC and Chris, and any other sprites we get later on. So, just wanted to post this update. Also here’s a couple more screencaps (as you can see the box is actually transparent i might put a small white stroke outline around the text so itll stand out more.)

From now on though, this blog will focus on the 1st game. And then way later on after the 1st is released we’ll focus on the 2nd.

So i finally started programming. I’ve yet to get the intro route back and proof-read so for now im going with Chris’ route. Here’s a couple caps from his trigger scenes. The first one (on the right) I think I’ll replace with his 2nd pose when I get it. but for now its something lol.

Also I sent over the textbox and sidebox images over to megs, so hopefully he can code them. If at least i’d like a side image lol. I can only hope he can get renpy to work >_< anyways, if i get that coded into the game then I’ll be sure and take more screencaps to show MC. <3

I am so glad to finally get this game going, it feels like its real now instead of some dream haha. Of course its really thanks to everyone that this is actually getting somewhere.

If i can keep up this pace, i think i might actually get a demo up by Feb. maybe a valentines gift for everyone :P

I appologize for falling behind on this blog, december was a busy month but i’ll do my best to keep it going now. Also as you can see the two above pictures means we finally got a couple finished sprites! of MC and Chris in thier snazzy winter uniforms. I have to thank gothic~ichigo and tasuki for doing an AMAZING job on it <3 im very glad to have such a talented team.

With that said, here is the rest of whats been going on this past month or so.

Jubbz – is still working on Avu’s rough draft, i keep saying i think he’s almost done and he isnt haha. but really hes been working hard its a pretty lengthy storyline that even continues onto MCs 3rd year. Still of what little snippits i’ve read i think all his hard work will pay off.

Chapperz – is still working on victors route he’s on act 4.

Spiral – is working on megan’s route and has written 78 pages in only a couple of days O_O. sadly he ran into a plothole and had to delete like 20 pages >_> still a the amazing speed he’s going im sure he can make it up easily.

Cidz – well i wrote out masons rough draft, realized it was pretty crappy. reorganized my thoughts and now im going to completely rewrite it with a whole new plot. but this one will be better and im actually quite excited to start working on it. other then that i finally finished the rewrite rough draft of the intro route. now im just awaiting feedback and proofreading. im hoping to have it completed soon so i can finally start programming >_<

Gothic~ichigo and Tasuki – i havent talked to her in a few weeks but last ive known she was working on avu’s sprites sent me a rough outline of his 2nd pose and expressions, we approved them and she sent them off to tasuki to color them. so ill check in after new years and see how shes coming along with that see if we get more finished spirtes or not. but her and Tasuki are really working hard on this so im glad <33333

Misc. – hmmm not much else to report the year is almost ending and im on winter break so im hoping to get some programming done. oh i worked on the GUI a little well just the design still heres my initial idea so let me know what you think (the box will be semi-transparent so it shows the background a little) ill try and get on figuring out how to insert a custom GUI and whatnot soon.

oh, and ive always fixed up this blog a bit. changed the layout, made a custom header, and i finally fixed the home button (i didnt even know till last night it was wierd and linked to the old blog sorry about that >_> )

Jubbz is about 3/4 done with writing Avu’s rought draft. While I (cid) am about 90% done with masons rough draft. Chapperz has written the 2nd act of Victors rough draft and about to work on the 3rd.

gothic~Ichigo and tasuki finished chris and MCs sprites and are about to work on Avu’s next.

I havent done any programming this month ive been spending these last few weeks working on masons route. after i write the rough draft im going to go add more to the common route and then do some programming. im hoping to add in some backgrounds and whatnot.

* jubbz – chris route completely finished, avus rough draft half-way through.
* chapperz – hasnt made anymore progress still did a bit of dreams script. He brainstromed on kitsu’s route. He will have more time to work on it however with fall season approaching.
* cidz – im pretty much in the same boat as chapperz >_> i finished common route and programming that now. I wrote a bit of masons route.

Art:
(i heard from our artists a couple weeks ago i PMd them again still waiting to hear back so im not sure if this is the most current or if they did more but ill let you guys know if more progress has been made)

Also still on the look for a background artist. Will probably use pre-made free to use backgrounds as a placeholder in the meantime.

* gothic~ichigo – working on chris sprite. sent a few things to tasuki to be colored
* tasuki: has colored a few things. unsure if she sent them to gothic~ichigo yet or not.

Programming:
* cidz: programming common route almost done with that. Will begin programmin chris route afterwards. Just the text nothing else.
* megz: i gave him a small test subject to see if he can program the ability to make a route appear after everyone elses and he figured it out so yay.

Misc:
* I’ve worked a bit on the GUI design in photoshop I’m almost satisfactory with it once i get something decent ill show it to you guys maybe make a few examples see which ones you like the best.
* other then that not much else has been going on. I dont have any art yet, so cant show any screencaps but once i get something I will defintly take some to show you guys. Will also work on updating the front page lol.

Well for starters, that right there is a sketch of the uniforms! the other good news is…..

Well, obviously we got an artist! Yup! gothic~ichigo will be doing our character designs! im so estatic <333333 i cant wait to see the designs for now we have the uniform sketches but i think they look great what do you think? lol.

we still dont have a CG or background artist but its ok those things can wait a bit longer <3

It suits the journalism theme of the story as well as the Romance/Otome theme!

so what do you guys think? It has a nice ring to it lol. wow much better then CSW the otome game. which that wasnt rly gonna be it by the way lol. it was just a placeholder ~

I tried finding a pic with 3 ppl. this is the best i could do >_> we'll pretend im the one sleeping, dubzeh is the one on the computer, and chapperz is the one drawing/writing. <_<

So i guess i should make an update post so no one will think i dropped this lol.

so good news! got 2 more script writters dubzeh and chapperz as well as myself will be writting the script so thats good. quite honestly im not so good at writing lol. so its good to have some help from a couple guys with writing experience <3 plus 3 heads will work better then 1 lol.

I’m still looking for an artist, but i decided to focus on the script first. because what good would going threw the trouble of finding an artist and then the script not working out. that would be a flop. so an artist is needed but i think it can wait.

I also did a few changes to the site. i added a small background design to give it some personal flaire and added a credits page (under about) and character one too.

There’s also 2 more love interests dreams and sense characters and with that the main character list is complete! so we will have a total of 11 love interests! thats quite alot to choose from. and each guy came up with thier own unique type so i think itll be fun itll be a nice variety thats for sure heck theres even a lez if you want to go that way haha XD

Sooooo overall even if it doesnt seem ive done much im always thinking and planning the story. im going to be working on the planning and script writing with dubzeh and chapperz for awhile so prolly wont be many updates for awhile. buuut once we get the script going ill prolly post some samples and stuff give you guys an idea lol.

- Looks: A very plain appearance. Just doesn’t bother with makeup or spending hours on her hair. That doesn’t mean she’s messy at least. And she’d probably become a bombshell if she just put some effort to actually look good.
- Personality: The yaoi fangirl. she likes pairing up the guys, and also likes turning normal situations into perverted ones with her yaoi fantasies. Her imagination can be quite…creative at times. Childhood friends and neighbor to you.
- Misc: she’s the friend of the MC. also writes the Yaoi/Gay column in the csw journal.

** Splitter **

- Name: Minna-chan
- Age/Year: 16. 2nd yr.
- Looks: Trap. short bob hair-do with glasses. kind of a nerdy girl.
- Personality: Pretty nice and easy to talk to. Likes ponies. A lot. but tries her best not to talk about em alot lol. Mina is your second Childhood friend and lives next door.

** Cidz **

- Name: Alice Stanfield
- Age/Year: 16. 2nd yr.
- Looks: long dark hair. dresses in goth-loli/cosplay outfits.
- Personality: bubbly personality. energetic and kind of weird lol. also has terrible grammar and it’s hard to understand her most of the time.
- Misc: Best friends with Jeremy and lives a couple blocks down. Alice met  the way been friends with MC since 3rd yr of middle school. she writes for the fashion column for csw newsletter

**Ghost**

-Name: Evangeline
-Age/Year: 17 3rd yr.
-Appearance: long blonde hair down to mid back, and blue eyes. A short appearance, often mistaken for a little girl. (Token Loli). When not in school, her outfits range from baseball t-shirts or black turtlenecks and jeans, to short sleeved baseball shirts and shorts.
-Misc:  favorite subject is writing and literature, she is usually calm and collected, but will joke around with friends or even scold them for being reckless at times. Lives in a house with her grandmother and their dog. Spends her free time reading books, manga, watching anime, etc. She also likes to cook and learn recipes from her grandmother. When she joins the club, she’ll also be the one to cook meals for them every now and again.

** Jubbz **

- Name: Jeremy Zaccheo
- Age/Year: 3rd yr.
- Looks: dark skinned. always wears a hat similar to tiger from tiger and bunny.
- Type: Hot-headed. Tsundere.
- Personality: He’s basically the Benson (from regular show) of CSW. He’s the leader of CSW and hates slackers. he’s hot-headed but at the same time has a soft spot for his crew, as he really cares about them, but hates to admit it. He also wants to make CSW the best newspaper ever! He works really hard to make that possible, even staying after school, to further this ambition in any way possible. You will have to help him learn that it’s not so bad to relax and he shouldn’t worry so much and control everything. Can you help him finally realize that it’s not so bad to take a break and chill out sometimes?
- Misc: Childhood friends with Alice Stanfield and lives next door to her. He also likes to bake cookies for the club, but only when he’s in a good mood. He’s also oblivious to the the many girls that like him, but refuse to make it obvious due to them always displaying Tsundere behavior. He claims he doesn’t like Tsunderes because he’s seen them all the time in anime.

** Martin **

- Name: Mr. Martin
- Age: 26.
- Looks: Tall, short hair. goatee.
- Type: Older man/Teacher.
- Personality: math teacher and 2nd yr homeroom teacher. He’s a pretty laid-back, nice guy but can be a stern teacher sometimes. Doesn’t like late homework. Since he’s a teacher, his love wont be that easy to get because of that “We’re teacher and student!” mentality, but if you’re persistent and impresses him, then overtime you too, will win his love.
- Misc: club advisor for csw. His favorite character is Angel (Kanade Tachibana) from Angel Beats. He also likes playing the saxophone and has them decorating the walls of his classroom.

** Chapperz **

- Name: Kitsu “Kit-tan” Madaki
- Age/Year: 16. 2nd yr.
- Type: Trickster/Funny.
- Looks: Medium sized shaggy hair and closed kitsune eyes that he only opens when talking seriously. He also smiles most of the time, usually forming into a grin when talking, though can be indifferent when his eyes are open. Like sort’ve like Walker but with dark brown hair that’s shaggy like Him. His casual outfit is a plaid shirtlike this, dark blue jeans, and a dogtag necklace
- Personality: he’s laidback and isn’t picky when it comes to gifts/options/etc. Around people he likes to say and do things that would make other’s uncomfortable (akin to a male fujoshi), but has a calmer nicer side when talking with the MC and wants to settle down
- Misc: Likes traps and inspires to be a Voice Actor someday. Likes writing snarky/parody Column in csw often making fun of stuff. also randomly likes to post things he likes.

** CCK **

- Name: Chris Ciel King
- Age/Year: 15. 1st yr.
- Type: A Charismatic Shouta.
- Looks: Blonde hair. blue eyes, short. He dresses very cleanly even when outside of school, sporting a blazer, white button-up shirt, and black slacks.
- Personality: He’s similar to Masaomi Kida from durarara in terms of personality. Loves the girls, very charming, and charismatic. Is kind of a little-pimp, so he’ll naturally hit on you but keeping him from wandering off might be a bit difficult. However with time, he’ll probably realize that he rather just settle down with you and stop flirting around with so many girls.
- Misc: Fav. anime is durarara writes for the romance advice column in the newspaper.

** Megz **

- Name: Megan “Megiddo” Miles
- Age/Year: 17. 3rd yr.
- Type: intelligent/Introverted.
- Looks: wears glasses.
- Personality: like kyouya from ouran. He’s smart and knows a ton of random facts and useless information. is kind of stand-offish and can sometimes come off as a jerk but really he means well. he has high standards in just about anything, so you’ll really have to impress him to win his love. however he’s can be pretty loving when he’s truly fallen for MC.
- Misc: computer guy in the club. and also runs the accounting. but mostly he runs the club site, and does any hacking or random computer stuff the club might need.

** Justice **

- Name: Justin Evans
- Age/Year: 3rd. 19. (he got held back lol >_> )
- Type: Lazy/Chaotic Neutral type
- Looks: medium length (like shoulder at the most) light brown hair. kinda messy cuz sometimes he doesn’t feel like brushing it lol.
- Personality: very lazy. likes taking naps. also likes doing whatever he pleases so has a tendency to skip school…alot. which is why he’s been held back another grade. he’s suppose to graduate this year…. maybe. hell see depending if he feels like it or not. He wont be incredibly easy to win over. especially since he’s rather aloof and does what he pleases but if MC works hard at him she will get him to change his lazy ways and perhaps even graduate that year.
- Misc.: joined the csw club but honestly does nothing but nap it kind of rly irritates dubzehs char alot lol but he doesn’t much mind. once in a while hell do some random column kinda half-asses it too.

** MDogg **

- Name: Mason Takahashi
- Age/Year: 3rd yr. 17
- Type: Stoic sports guy.
- Looks: tall and slightly muscular. half japanese half american.
- Personality: Quiet, a man of few words. He’s from a famous dojo family and has been trained in MA all his life. He’s never had a girlfriend because he’s too busy training. since hes so quiet he wont be easy to get but don’t give up with this one eventually MC will win his heart. and even though he doesn’t say much the things he does say he means.
- Misc: He’s in both the MA and csw club. since he’s usually busy with MA he doesn’t show up too much but he does put out a few sports articles. longs to actually join basketball team instead. has a very strict father

** Spiral **

- Name: Avu Kamu
- Age/Year: 16. 2nd yr.
- Type: Normal nice guy
- Looks: slightly tall, black hair normal length and green eyes.
- Personality: He’s just a normal guy nothing particular stands out however he’s an all around decent guy and decently good at everything. He’s the nice guy that you go to when you wanna talk about your problems.Sure he’s not overly brave, but he’s still willing to stand up for you and be there for you. He’s also very social savvy, as he has the talk skills to get anyone to reveal any juicy information, as he’s got many connections.
- Misc.: somewhat newcomer to the csw journalism club. he also is the info broker for csw.

* Sense*

- Name: Stephen Stone
- Age/Year: 16. 2nd yr
- Type: Shy, Obsessive, Straightforward
- Looks: Kinda messy looking. has shaggy hair. but still looks clean.
- Personality: He’s pretty shy around most of his classmates and honestly gives off a bit of a creepy vibe, which results in him being feared by most people. He’s also pretty open and funny in the csw journalism club. He also has a… bit of a posessive nature to him when you get him interested in you. Perhaps there’s more to him than meets the eye?
- Misc: He tends to initiate moments of ho-yay with the guys to the point where his sexuality is questioned, and usually gets a kick in the balls whenever he comes on to Jeremy.

** Dreams **

- Name: Victor Dremseer
- Age/Year: 16. 2nd yr
- Type: Music Lover.
- Looks: Looks goth-emo kinda scary dark brooding.
- Personality: looks dark and brooding and scary but has a really bright and energetic personality, which is far from the vibe he gives. His love for music has him write random songs in the club that normally make no sense, which results in Jeremy calling him Yui Hirasawa just to piss him off.
- Misc: He’s best friends with Justin and very close to him. He also likes being around Justin to the point where you’d suspect that he might actually have feelings for him. He also hates K-ON and Yui.

** faye **

- Name: Faye
- Age: 19. graduated HS last year
- Type: upperclassman. gamer.
- Looks: DD cup. glasses and blue eyes.
- Personality: A lesbian that works at the video game store. tends to kind of flirt with MC a bit. but will MC go for her or think its wierd? also seems to have a bit of mysteriousness to her
- Misc: use to be part of the csw journalism club. and graduated HS last year. is going to the local college studying game programming. Faye is an extra character that the MC will have to meet where she works and do extra things to win her over.

• Mdogg – the stoic sports type.  is also part of the martial arts (or maybe basketball im not sure kinda leaning towards MA tho) club. 3rd yr.
• spiral – the normal guy type.  doesnt stand out but is decently good at everything a generally nice guy.
• faye -  the older guy type. graduated from HS the previous year. use to belong to the journalism club. works part-time. (might be an extra guy)

anywhoo, since the majority of the bloggers in csw are men i figured that would makea perfect setting for an otome game! plus putting all these guys in a game seems pretty fun and lolz XD soooo itll be a LONG time before thisll ever get finished but im gonna keep working on it and use this to update my progress!
